My art quilts are intended to elicit positive conversations through bright and engaging colors for individuals who appreciate fine art.

I use premium textiles and techniques like improvisational piecing as a focal point for homes and galleries. Their impact has already been felt in environments such as heart hospitals and doctors’ offices, where they serve as decorative pieces and as sources of inspiration and comfort to patients and visitors.

The vision for my artistic quilts is to encourage audiences to embrace quilting as art.

Laurel's work is awesome. I just purchased the most beautiful backpack from her. It has everything I wanted in a backpack. The style, color, size and number of pockets is perfect. I really love that I can use it as a normal 2 strap backpack or as a single strap backpack!

Love, love, love her work. I've ordered two baby quilts for clients who raved about them. I thought they were beautiful so was glad they did too. She made me a custom Disney purse which was everything I wanted - the right pockets, waterproof, crossbody bag. I have two of her 'stuffed' animals that are pieces of art, the detail and quality is amazing. If you buy anything on her site you will be very pleased with it, she is amazing. Her work is affordable and unique.

After the passing of my mother our family decided to have a set of memory quilts commissioned in memory. Laurel was so very kind and compassionate throughout the whole process and delivered quilts that exceeded our expectation. Her craftsmanship is remarkable.
