My customer bought a patio set but the cushions were in no condition to be used. This is the before picture.
Here are the cushions and they're all ready for relaxing and entertaining.
It was a little difficult to sit in these chairs without fear of falling through. The owner didn't want to invest in re-caning until the kids were a little older so I made cushions to cover the hole.
Here's the new cushions. They are zippered so they are easily washable. Matching ties and straps keep the cushion securely on the chairs. There is a piece of plywood inside topped with foam so no one has to worry about falling through.
Some more outdoor furniture that had seen better days. Now they're ready for cocktails on the veranda.
I recovered six dining room chairs that had been very well used.
A new house in need of cushions for their screened porch. This was the longest cushion I've done so far. I also made matching pillows.
This car coat needed a little TLC. The lining was shredded under the arms and the tabs on the sleeves were coming loose. I got permission from the owner to not use a matching lining. Instead I found this leopard flannel backed satin to re-line it. Now the coat is even toastier!
This is my first baptism gown. I learned a few new sewing techniques like pin tucking and lace inserts. I added the hat and booties to complete the outfit.
A dress I made for my daughter's performance in the 50's show where she sang a Patsy Cline song.
This is a custom order dress made from 100% cotton. It has two pockets on the bodice and two pockets on the side seam.
I made this cheerleading outfit for Lily Anne Phibian. The mascot for Athens Clarke County Water Conservation Division.
