My first Modern Quilt Challenge using six fat eighths of Riley Blake Basics supplemented with white and Riley Blake Pop for the back. The half-log cabin pattern was machine pieced.
This one-of-a-kind quilt is layered with 80/20 cotton batting and quilted using a serpentine design echoing the log cabin squares. A traditional double-fold coordinating binding around the edges ensures this quilt will stand the test of time.
The quilt hung in the juried exhibition at the Lyndon House Arts Center and won third place in the modern quilt category at the Cotton Patch Quilters Show in Athens.
Care includes machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle and either tumble dry on low or line dry.
Size: 51” x 61-1/2”
