What better way to remind people to vote than by using the collar of the pint-size powerhouse RBG.
Soon after Associate Justice Ginsberg’s passing a pattern from KH quilts appeared on the Internet. At the same time, my guild had a challenge to do a red and white quilt square. Add an election year, and you have the perfect formula for this quilt.
The collar is paper pieced, while the letters are free pieced.
I think matchstick quilting really makes what you’re quilting stand out and lets the design be the star.
It is sandwiched with Hobbs 80/20 batting. To make it patriotic I used a navy-blue cotton for the binding.
Comes with a sleeve and a dowel so all you need to do is hang it on your wall.
